The band is made up of Cade, his older brother Kyle, and their cousin and producer, Miles. Cade and Kyle grew up between Arizona and Missouri, surrounded by musical theater and creativity from an early age. They began playing music when they were young, building the foundation for the sound they create today.
Their music blends modern folk with an acoustic, atmospheric style inspired by mountains, forests, open roads, and now the ocean. Rooted in meaningful storytelling, their songs explore the human experience, nostalgia, faith, and God.
Now based in Wilmington, North Carolina, the band continues to create honest music that feels reflective, adventurous, and deeply connected to the places and experiences that shaped them.
Why Wake the Shore?
The short answer is simple: it reflects where we are and the way we blend music with life by the beach.
But as we continue growing into our sound, “Wake the Shore” has come to mean something more. To us, it feels like a calling toward who we are and who we still have the potential to become.
It is a reminder to keep moving forward, try new things, travel, take chances, and fully live the life God has given us. It is about choosing adventure over fear and stepping into the unknown with purpose.
